Jarden Corporation (JAH)

I started out looking at Jarden Corporation (JAH) as a potential long investment. In the end I decided not to invest because of a simply staggering number of red flags that the company’s financials revealed. The accounting gimmicks took the form of misleading metrics, earnings dressing and cash flow shenanigans.

My write-up on the stock was submitted to Seeking Alpha’s premium articles so can’t be reproduced on this site so here’s the link to it.
